
Basic Chicken Puree for babies
Most pediatric authorities across the world recommend to introduce meat recipes as one of the first solid foods for babies when babies are 8 to 10 months old i.e. in second and third stages of weaning. Meat is the most nutritious option for baby solid food recipes. Moreover, Lots of variations could be done easily in baby meat weaning recipes.
Initially, combination of veggies and fruits along with meat recipes such as meat and veggie purees could be prepared beacuse this may help the baby to develop taste for meat. Also, fresh meat should be used for preparing baby food recipes instead of frozen meats.

Following recipe is basic chicken puree recipe which could be introduced to 8 to 10 months old babies. It is recommended to use chicken breasts or thighs meat beacuse these parts are rich in proteins, iron and fat.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups skinless, boneless chicken
- Water or chicken broth
Method:
Boil the chicken in enough water. Separate the chicken and water and cut the chicken into 1/2 inch small chunks, then allow the chicken to get cold. Also store the water used for boiling chicken. Now, place chopped pieces of cold chicken into a food processor or blender and puree until it is finely powdered. Gradually add stored water to the chicken puree and once again puree them together. Add the water up to the desired consistency.
