
Basic Banana Puree Weaning Recipe
Banana is a very soft fruit, rich in fibers thus infants can eat it quickly. Moreover, it is easily digestible for babies that’s why banana is considered as one of the top choices for preparing baby’s first food recipes. Variety of weaning recipes are made using Banana. Following recipe is basic a Banana Puree recipe, it can be easily prepared right at home anytime without any fuss. Banana Puree can be given to babies right from the starting of weaning process i.e. to six month old babies.
Ingredients:
- 1 well ripened banana
- breast or formula milk
Method:
Peel and cut the banana into small chunks.
Take a mixing bowl, add banana chunks and milk (as per desired consistency (thickness) you want) and puree them using an electric hand mixer.
Nutritious banana puree is ready to satisfy your baby’s first food need.
Try not to store the puree as banana turns brownish after some time. however, adding some drops of lemon juice helps in preventing browning of banana but better to Serve it fresh. Try the recipe and enjoy your baby weaning.
